While there may be two months until the BBC unveils the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor, on Nov. 23, 2013, the Tandem With The Random podcast is planning to celebrate the momentous occasion a few days earlier.
Tandem With The Random: Celebrating 50 Years of Doctor Who will go online Monday, Nov. 18, and feature Doctor Who fan memories and stories, and other special features. Hopefully, there will be a surprise or two thrown in.
One thing I would like to do is a Google+ Hangout on Air with fellow Doctor Who fans to talk about their experiences as fans of the program and what they hope to see in The Day of the Doctor when it airs worldwide on Nov. 23. If you’re interested in taking part in this Google+ Hangout with me, please e-mail the podcast at TWTRpodcast@gmail.com, or drop us a line via Twitter or our Facebook page. I would like to hold this Google+ Hangout in either late October or early November.
And, remember, if you are a fellow Whovian, please call the TWTR comment line at 1-609-310-1480 to leave a message about your Doctor Who experiences…your first time watching, your favorite Doctor, companion, villain or story. Anything you want to share about your Doctor Who fandom is appreciated. Select voicemails will be selected to be used on the TWTR Doctor Who special.
